For every person this is subtlety different. We each have our own body niggles and limitations, so as your trainer – we take the time to find out where your body is at - so that the exercises we prescribe firstly do not injure you, and secondly are matched to your unique needs.

We cater to many fitness levels – but are not for everyone.

For beginners – LTYB is a great place to start. Many LTYB members are “first time in a gym” – and the fear of joining can be “I have no idea what to do” or “am I doing this exercise right”. We love to teach… take great enjoyment in showing newbies how to use the equipment and get the exercises just right. We also take pride in ensuring a comfortable, non-intimidating environment. Part of this philosophy includes no mirrors.

We are not into “fad diets”, rapid weight loss, or unsustainable short term results. We very much have a 52 week a year philosophy - to keep you moving physically, and in a positive mental space all year round. Many members who join are pursuing weight loss - so once we help you lose the weight, we want to make sure the weight stays off.....for good.

Other members join to gain strength, increase bone density, achieve more flexibility or improve their cardio for their local sport activities like netball, football, soccer and basketball.

As you progress with your fitness – we have a full range of strength and cardio equipment to keep workouts varied and motivated every session. Variety is the spice of life! And there is nothing less motivating than doing the same old exercises week in , week out.

Our sessions are unique – and the best way to understand is to come along and try one for free – to see if it is to your liking. If you don't enjoy the session - it will have cost you nothing and you can just sneak out and never come back :)

Studio Owner

Marco Monteiro is LTYB Williamstowns studio owner and PT. After over 10 years in the fitness industry running a successful solo PT business out of a big box gym, Marco decided it was time to take the next step and open up his first studio.

Finding passion within health, fitness and sports at a very young age, Marco discovered early on the positive benefits of not just the physical improvements but the mental improvements that arise from fitness training.

Realising that living a healthier, more active life improved his life quality and made life feel more fulfilling and enjoyable, he vowed to help others gain the same benefits and improvements from their own fitness journeys.

Having very strong morals and views around support, care, positivity and a strong community has allowed LTYB Williamstown studio to thrive and become number 1 in the network.

Marco + team & studios won six out of the ten LTYB network awards in his first two years of trade including ‘Franchise of the Year’ two years running.

Multi-Site Manager

Hemashi is LTYB M3 Groups Multi Site Manager. Hemashi has over 4 years in the fitness industry, running a successful PT business and managing a commercial gym.

Growing up overweight, Hemashi found her passion for fitness through her own 25kg weight loss journey. Seeing the holistic benefits of staying active fuelled her desire to help others and once she began working as a PT, she has never looked back. Hemashi truly believes that fitness saved her life and advocates for everyone to find the time to be active.

Hemashi aims to help people fit exercise into their lifestyles so they're able to feel confident, have fun and live life to the fullest!

Studio Manager

Emma is LTYB Williamstown’s Studio Manager and has been a trainer for over 12 years. She has worked in corporate gym environments in Melbourne’s CBD as well as owning her own successful studio and personal training business.
Em is the sort of trainer who empowers her clients to gain strength and confidence through movement.

She is deeply passionate about correcting technique, with experience in powerlifting and a love of compound exercises. With a long list of qualifications under her belt, she has the technical basis to help you get the most out of yourself and your sessions.

Personal Trainer & Head of Culture

Karina Sorelli (or Frenchie) is from Paris and is a fitness instructor and personal trainer. Fitness and sports have always been a huge part of her life, although what ultimately made Karina want to become a PT herself is her very own journey.

She lost 20kgs in 2 years whilst also reaping and loving the benefits of a healthier life and learned so much throughout the process thanks to the amazing PTs she was surrounded by at the time. It made her determined to share her newfound success and knowledge with as many people as she can.

Her energy, enthusiasm and smile are all contagious and are big assets to the industry. She loves helping people reach their goals and improve their daily lives, whether that be physical &/or their mental health.

Deane is a PT with a bachelor in science majoring in physical activity under his belt. Deane moved to Melbourne early 2023 from Ireland on a professional soccer scholarship, having a huge passion for sports, health and fitness, Deane loves to push himself with his competitive sports whilst also helping others find the best versions of themselves.

Having great exercise knowledge due to his studios, Deane likes to bring his creative exercises in to help members get the best results in the gym.

Whilst studying business, Sarah decided she wanted to get her Cert III & IV in Fitness as she has always been interested in her own health and fitness.

Sarah is now studying Osteopathy and is looking forward to pass on her knowledge to our LTYB members.

Sarah has a passion for sports and has played AFL herself, she also loves weight lifting and feeling strong in the gym

Yoga Instructor

Charlotte is a super passionate yoga teacher, she recently graduated in her 200 hour yoga teacher training course at yoga flame in moonee ponds. She has been practicing yoga for over a couple of years now and it is truly her biggest passion and the favourite part of her day.

She looks forward to learning more asanas and flows and being able to share them them across all her practices. Her class is a 50 minute flow perfect for beginners or anyone that also has experience in yoga. If you are new to yoga this is a great place to start as it is a flow with levels and adjustments to fit any experience level.
