So how do we work at LTYB Balgowlah Fitness studio?


At LTYB, we run small group personalised classes where we take the time to find out exactly what you want to achieve and cater your workout specifically for you, to help provide you with the best results.


There is a Personal Trainer in charge of every session. Our individualised method of training allows the instructor to select specific exercises just right for you. So even though there will be others training in a session, you will work at your own pace, with your own equipment, on your own set of exercises, specific to your goals and level of fitness.


We have a full range of strength and cardio equipment to keep workouts varied and you motivated every session. Variety is the spice of life! And there is nothing less motivating than doing the same old exercises week in, week out.

Studio Owner/Head Trainer

Jared Katz is LTYB Balgowlah studio owner and head personal trainer. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, with more than 8 years of experience in the fitness industry helping hundreds of individuals achieve their health and fitness goals.

His journey commenced at a young age with a strong passion for team sports, particularly soccer, which ignited his dedication to improving and helping others live a more active and healthier lifestyle.

After successfully running his own personal training business in a commercial gym, Jared decided it was time to take the next step and open his very own Fitness Studio.

With Jared at the helm, members can expect a warm and encouraging atmosphere that motivates them to achieve their goals. His reputation as a dedicated personal trainer who genuinely cares about his clients’ well-being will undoubtedly resonate with the Northern Beaches community.

Personal Trainer

Gabi, originally from Czech Republic moved to Australia 5 years ago. She has more than 6 years experience in the fitness industry and has extensive experience working in a variety of small group and commercial gyms.

Gabi is super excited to share her knowledge, experience and passion for health and fitness with our community at Listen To Your Body Balgowlah.

With over 5 years experience in the fitness industry, Marco is enlivened to share his passion for health and fitness to the LTYB Balgowlah Community.

Marco has worked in a handful of commercial gyms and has experience working with all levels of fitness. He has helped many individuals achieve their health and fitness goals and is excited to share his level of expertise in our classes.

As much as Marco loves his Bench Press and Deadlifts, his favourite form of movement is boxing and running.

Love this new gym in Balgowlah. I’m into my 4th week from joining & find the small group classes fun, with fabulous technique correction and instruction from Jared (owner & PT). Nothing but good things to say about this brand new fitness studio ! All the things you don’t like about gyms don’t exist here ! Mirrors everywhere, waiting for equipment to be free, keeping up with others in classes and the risk of hurting yourself by not doing things correctly! Jared, owner and personal trainer is fantastic! Very knowledgeable and motivated ! He is in charge of every session and guides you through the 45 minute class where you work out at your own pace, with your own exercises and equipment, especially designed for your needs, goals and fitness level ! It’s like you have your own PT even though you’re in small group sessions ! Really effective concept ! Really fun classes ! Great environment !

Absolutely fantastic gym and Jared is terrific . My husband are I are in our 60s and 70s and Jared is really careful about correcting our posture or weight exercises to prevent injury. Classes are great fun, parking is easy and we’re going 3 times a week and loving it - miracle!!!
